Robert Stephens

Robert Stephens is an associate professor of History and the Principal of the Honors Residential College. His research focuses on the history of drugs and addiction, digital humanities, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. He has been a longtime proponent of undergraduate research. He has published widely on undergraduate research and founded the Virginia Tech Undergraduate Historical Review. More recently, his has begun experiential learning and research on living-learning communities and residential colleges in his role at the Honors Residential College.
